What is Cloud Resources?

One pool. Many VMs. Total flexibility.

Cloud Resources Flex is a pooled subscription. Customers can divide their resources between multiple VMs and select Intel, AMD Ryzen or AMD EPYC as a CPU preference for each deployment, while SolidVPS automatically selects an eligible node in the chosen location.

Choose a CPU preference per VM. SolidVPS selects an eligible node with available capacity in your chosen location.

Multiple Locations

Deploy VMs in eligible active locations. Fixed-location or any-location Flex subscriptions available.

Private vRack

Connect VMs over an isolated private network. Local or cross-region vRack with separate bandwidth allowance.

Public IPv4

Allocate public IPv4 addresses from your pool. Set PTR records for your IPv4 addresses. IPv6 support is coming soon.

Firewall Rules

Create inbound and outbound rules with TCP, UDP, ICMP support, port ranges, CIDR filtering and priorities.

Backup Protection

Add scheduled full-VM backups with retention plans from 1 to 14 backups. Windows snapshots where supported.

Custom ISO

Deploy your own OS image using the existing SolidVPS URL-based ISO workflow when templates don't fit.

Solid AI Deployment

Describe your environment in plain language. Solid AI organizes requirements and prepares a compatible deployment.

PTR Records

Set reverse DNS names for allocated IPv4 addresses. Track pending, active or failed status.

Separate Bandwidth

Bandwidth allowances are pooled across the subscription. Public bandwidth applies to Internet traffic through your VMs' public interfaces. vRack bandwidth applies to private traffic between VMs connected to your vRack. Public and vRack usage are monitored separately. IPv6 is available where supported. These plans are not unlimited-bandwidth plans.

A Flex pool is a pooled monthly subscription. Instead of buying separate fixed VPS plans for every workload, you get a shared pool of vCPU, RAM, NVMe storage, public IPv4 addresses and VM slots that you can divide between multiple VMs and rebalance as your environment grows.

Public bandwidth and private vRack bandwidth are separate allowances. Public bandwidth applies to Internet traffic through your VMs' public interfaces. vRack bandwidth applies to private traffic between VMs connected to your vRack. They are never combined into one total, and both are pooled across the subscription.

A private vRack is an isolated private network that connects your VMs together without using public Internet bandwidth. It is useful when multiple VMs need to communicate securely, for example a web application VM talking to a database VM. vRack can be local to one location or span cross-region, and it uses its own separate bandwidth allowance.

No. Cloud Resources Flex plans come with defined public and vRack bandwidth allowances that are pooled across the subscription. If you need unmetered or very high bandwidth, contact Solid AI or support and we can recommend a plan or a custom deployment that fits your traffic profile.

Yes. Tell Solid AI what you want to run, which applications should communicate, where the VMs should be located, what CPU and RAM you need and whether the VMs should use a private vRack. Solid AI can recommend a Flex plan, create one or more VMs, install custom applications, configure firewall rules, set PTR records, add backups and identify limitations before deployment — without requiring technical knowledge.

Yes. When a standard template does not fit, you can use the existing SolidVPS Custom ISO process. Provide a reachable ISO URL and the image will be downloaded and attached through the deployment process. Solid AI can help configure the resulting environment if additional setup is needed after installation.

You can add scheduled full-VM backups with retention plans from 1 to 14 backups. Windows snapshots are supported where available. Backups are managed from the SolidVPS control panel and can be restored without rebuilding the VM.

Currently, Cloud Resources plans are provisioned with IPv4 addresses only. IPv6 support is coming soon — once available, we will automatically assign a complimentary /64 subnet to any previously deployed VMs at no extra cost. We are working to bring IPv6 to these plans as quickly as possible, though we do not have a specific ETA at this time.
