Depending on where you reside and which law applies to a particular processing activity, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes our practices and provides information relevant to those rights; it is not a representation that every privacy law applies to every User, Service, or processing activity.
Where an applicable privacy law grants rights that cannot lawfully be waived, SolidVPS will process verified requests in accordance with that law and any applicable exceptions.

Depending on applicable law, rights may include access or confirmation, correction, deletion, portability, information concerning categories of data or disclosures, applicable opt-out rights, appeal rights where required, and protection from unlawful discrimination for exercising applicable privacy rights. The availability and scope of each right depend on statutory thresholds, definitions, exemptions, exceptions, verification requirements, and the processing involved.

Individuals in Canada may have rights under applicable federal or provincial privacy laws, including rights concerning access, correction, consent, transparency, and complaints, depending on the jurisdiction and processing involved.
Where Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais ("LGPD") applies, data subjects may have applicable rights concerning confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information concerning sharing, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and other statutory rights, subject to applicable conditions, exceptions, verification procedures, and lawful retention requirements.
Individuals in Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy or data-protection laws may have additional rights. SolidVPS will honor such rights where and to the extent applicable law governs SolidVPS's processing.
Where applicable privacy law grants a right not expressly described in this Privacy Policy, SolidVPS will honor that right to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to waive or restrict a right or obligation that applicable law does not permit to be waived or restricted.

Customer content stored inside VPS instances, dedicated servers, hosting accounts, databases, applications, backups, or other Customer-controlled environments is primarily controlled by the Customer. Customers are responsible for determining what personal data they place in the Services, establishing a lawful basis for that processing, configuring appropriate access controls, maintaining independent backups where required, and complying with privacy, security, breach-notification, data-residency, and other laws applicable to their own content and users.
SolidVPS may process service data and Customer-hosted data to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, migrate, restore, investigate abuse of, or protect the Services; comply with legal obligations; enforce our agreements; or respond to Customer instructions. Nothing in this Privacy Policy creates a guarantee that Customer-hosted data will be continuously available, recoverable, or retained. Backup, data-loss, restoration, and service-liability terms are governed by the Terms of Service and any applicable product terms.
We use administrative, technical, and physical measures that we consider appropriate for the nature of the information and Services. No network, system, transmission, storage method, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this Privacy Policy does not create a warranty of absolute security or uninterrupted availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SolidVPS may retain and use account, authentication, IP-address, provisioning, payment, billing, ticket, support, abuse, security, configuration, and service-usage records for fraud prevention, security, incident response, legal compliance, enforcement of our agreements, chargeback and payment-dispute defense, establishment or defense of legal claims, and protection of SolidVPS, its customers, providers, and third parties. Retention periods may differ by record type and legal or operational need.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy requires SolidVPS to notify a Customer before preserving or disclosing information when notice is prohibited by law, restricted by valid legal process, would reasonably compromise an investigation or security response, or is otherwise not legally required.
Solid Systems, LLC reserves the right to update and amend this policy as deemed necessary or appropriate.
